Friday 6th of August, Stockholm is hosting a sold out event where athletes Usain Bolt and Tyson Gay, the two World Championship medalists from Berlin 2009 will be joined at the Samsung Diamond League Competition by javelin throwers Andreas Thorkildsen and Tero Pitkämäki, sprint athlete Allyson Felix, high jump Blanka Vlasic and shot putter Valerie Vili in Stockholm’s historic 1912 Olympic Stadium .
Initially announced to participate, Asafa Powell is sidelined by injury. | |
